Activision has released a brand new story trailer for Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare, giving players a glimpse of the game's campaign. The trailer also shows the first in-game looks at two of the campaign's stars: Game of Thrones star Kit Harington and UFC fighter Conor McGregor.

Harington plays villain Admiral Salen Kotch of the Settlement Defence Front, while McGregor takes on the role of his subordinate, Captain Bradley Fillion.

The trailer also shows off some other notable names including Homeland's David Harewood playing Sergeant Omar, Babylon 5's Claudia Christian as Captain Ferran, True Blood's Jamie Gray Hyder as Lieutenant Nora Salter and Brian Bloom as the game's protagonist Lt. Nick Reyes.

"After a simultaneous surprise attack on UNSA forces in Geneva and the Moon Port Gateway, Lt Nick Reyes must take the helm of the Retribution, one of Earth's last remaining warships," a synopsis reads.

"In a time of unthinkable adversity, Reyes must lead his trusted crew against the relentless Settlement Defense Front's plans to dominate all who oppose them. The freedom of every citizen of Earth is at stake."

The trailer also gives gamers a look at some of the upcoming shooter's futuristic arsenal and space combat, as well as boots-on-the-ground combat with some fighting taking place on Earth.

Earlier this month, McGregor teased his involvement in the Call of Duty game, tweeting an image of himself in a motion-capture suit saying, "The best team up with the best."

Call of Duty: Infinite Warfare is slated for release on 4 November of PS4, Xbox One and PC. PS4 players who pre-order the game will also get access to the multiplayer beta on 14 October.
