US President Donald Trump's eldest daughter Ivanka took to social media to share sweet photos of her three young children playing a game of peek-a-boo but was ruthlessly taunted instead. The 36-year-old posted a photo of her children - Arabella, Joseph and Theodore - trying to hide under her floor-length gown.

However, social media users were quick to point out that she misspelled the word "peek-a-boo" in the caption.

"Peak-a-boo," Ivanka tweeted on Tuesday. She also posted a similar image on Instagram with the same misspelled caption.

Naturally, Twitter users responded with a myriad of mocking comments, jokes and memes mocking her for it.

"Can anyone in your family spell?" one Twitter user asked. Jaime Primak Sullivan tweeted: "It's PEEK! For the love of private school education."

Many people mocked her in light of her father's history of misspelled words and grammatical errors in his own tweets.

"Like father, like daughter," one user chimed.

Even the official Merriam-Webster Twitter account joined in and posted a tweet featuring different definitions of words that sound like "peek." The post has been retweeted over 1,100 times.

Others claimed that the photo seemed "incredibly staged" and "tone-deaf" in light of the recent tax cut bill passed by the GOP that features tax cuts for businesses and higher-earning individuals while raising taxes for millions of others including graduate students.

"Hide and seek while Grandpa throws Dad under the bus and runs the country into the ground. How cute!" another person tweeted.

"She's incredibly tone deaf...but really what can we expect from grifter princess Barbie?" another said.
