Indian actress and former beauty queen Aishwarya Rai Bachchan stunned the world with her sizzling appearances during the 68th annual Cannes Film Festival in France.

In 2012, the 41-year-old Pride And Prejudice actress had faced criticism, from within Bollywood, over her reluctance to shed post-pregnancy weight immediately after giving birth to daughter Aaradhya Bachchan.

However, she has since fought back, and three years on at the Cannes Film Festival 2015, Aishwarya Rai, has stunned critics with her remarkably slim figure.

On 17 May, the former Miss World walked the red carpet at the Cannes Film Festival 2015, in a turquoise Elie Saab gown, and teamed it up with DeGrisgono jewellery.

On 19 May, the Pink Panther actress, looked breathtakingly beautiful in a strapless burgundy Oscar de la Renta Fall 2015 gown, as she attended the photocall of her comeback film Jazbaa.

The 68th Cannes Film Festival officially opened on 13 May and runs until 24 May when the coveted Palme d'Or prize will be awarded to one of 19 films competing for top honours this year.
