The line-up for Capital FM's Summertime Ball 2016 looks set to be a star-studded affair with Ariana Grande, will.i.am, Nick Jonas and Jess Glynne among the acts confirmed to perform. Music fans will flock to London's Wembley Stadium on Saturday 11 June when the annual event will be hosted.

It should be a triumphant appearance for Grande, 22, who was forced to cancel her performance at the radio station's Jingle Bell Ball event in November 2015. Other acts confirmed to be entertaining the masses are Nick Jonas, who will release his third solo album, Last Year Was Complicated, the day before on 10 June, and Jess Glynne who performed at the 2015 Summertime Ball. After the news was announced, Glynne told her Twitter followers that she was "so happy to be back @CapitalOfficial's #SumertimeBall this year!".

Joining the long line of performers are Tinie Tempah, who has treated fans to new music in 2016, and UK garage king Craig David who is making a comeback with his sixth album, Following My Intuition. Electronic trio Years & Years will bring their chart-topping hits to the stage, including King and Shine, while one-third of Major Lazer, Jillionaire, will represent the EDM collective on his own.

Tickets for the pop bonanza go on general sale via Ticketmaster from Thursday 28 April at 8am, the same day Capital FM will announce the final performer. The 2015 event boasted a stellar line-up with the likes of One Direction, Avicii, Jason Derulo, Fifth Harmony and Meghan Trainor making up the bill.
