Captain America: Civil War
Captain America: Civil War trailer update Marvel

Filming for Captain America: Civil War is almost over and going by the latest reports, it looks like Spider-Man will be a part of the film's epic climax.

Marvel's new Spidey - Tom Holland - joined the cast and crew of Captain America 3 in Atlanta, US to film some scenes for the film. Several reports suggested that Holland's Spider-Man will have a cameo role in the movie but now Holland has been spotted at the last leg of filming Cap 3 in Germany. There's a big chance that Spidey might just have a pretty major role in Civil War. Incidentally, Spider-Man played a very important role in the Marvel Civil War comic.

"During Marvel's D23 presentation, producer Kevin Feige revealed that Captain America: Civil War would wrap sometime within the week, chances are good they're currently filming the film's finale and/or final battle and if Holland is in attendance, chances are even better that Spider-Man is somehow involved in that sure-to-be epic finale," states a ComicBookMovie report.

In a press release, presumably released at the D23 Expo, Holland was officially listed as a member of the cast of Captain America 3, which would mark the first time Marvel/Disney has officially acknowledged his presence in the highly anticipated sequel. Check out this tweet below:

Meanwhile, with filming almost over, we can probably expect to see the first trailer of Captain America: Civil War pretty soon – some of the first footage was already showcased at Marvel's D23 expo. The latest rumours indicate that Marvel could release the first trailer of the film during the season 3 premiere of Agents Of Shield – on 29 September, 2015.

Captain America: Civil War is slated for release on 6 May 2016.
