An early Sunday morning crash ended with a car on the roof of a house in Houston, Texas.

The car triggered Susan Mistini's house alarm system which led her to believe that someone was breaking into her home when a neighbour told her what happened.

"'What's going on?' And he said, 'hurry up there's a car on your roof. A car on my roof?' And he said, 'yes a car on your roof,'" she said.

Harris county sheriff officials said the car went airborne when the driver was speeding and failed to make a curve.

"It inverted and somersaulted, landed on the roof upside down," said Harris County Sheriff's Asst. Chief John Laine.

The driver was transported to the hospital and is in stable condition. Investigators have not determined whether alcohol was factor in the accident.
