The wannabe badboy is the bookies favourite to win this year's Celebrity Big Brother Channel5

Shamed X Factor contestant Frankie Cocozza could be set to make one of the biggest TV comebacks after being tipped to win this year's Celebrity Big Brother.

Just days ahead of the final show, the 19-year-old wannabe bad boy has become the bookies favourite to win the Channel 5 reality show, after successfully changing the public's tarnished perception of him.

Frankie, who entered the Celebrity Big Brother house fresh off his disgraceful stint on last year's X Factor, has knocked 'nice guy' Gareth Thomas off the top spot.

Bookmakers, Ladbrokes have now ranked Brighton rocker Frankie as the 11/8 favourite, overtaking Welsh rugby star Gareth who now sits respectively as a runner-up with 13/8 odds.

Following tantrums, tears and in-house bickering, viewers of the Channel 5 show are apparently falling in love with the cheeky youngster once again, despite his wild antics.

Frankie's sudden success could indirectly down to the huge-bust up between Playboy twins Karrissa and Kristina Shannon, Denise Welch, Nicola McLean after Denise Welch pulled down Karissa Shannon's pyjama bottoms whilst drunk.

The singers handling of the situation when he was dragged into the subsequent fall-out could have helped viewers warmed to him further.

Frankie and Gareth will now join the Shannon Twins, Michael Madsen, Denise Welch, Nicola McLean, as theey battle it out to be crowned this year's CBB champion.

A Labrokes spokesperson said: "Frankie's finally struck a chord with punters. It looks like Gareth and his nice guy act might fall at the last hurdle."
