Celebrity Big Brother 2015: Five things we learnt on launch night

Celebrity Big Brother has officially returned to our screens for another unpredictable series guaranteed to be filled with tears, tantrums, and awkward exits.

Among the new line-up of celebrity hopefuls to enter the Big Brother house was rent-a-gob Katie Hopkins, hunky Calum Best, actress Patsy Kensit and American blogger Perez Hilton.

Jeremy Jackson, Michelle Visage, Alexander O'Neal, Chloe Goodman, Keith Chegwin, Kavana, Camila 'Cami Li' Figueras, Ken Morley, Nadia Sawalha and Alicia Douvall will also be doing their part to entertain us.

While you decide who you will be backing this time around, let's look back at the highs and lows of launch night and what we learnt.

The Big Brother eye sees all - even on the outside ...

Even before the show got under way host Emma Willis suffered an embarrassing wardrobe malfunction when her black lacy top slipped to reveal a nipple. What a way to kick off the festivities.

Everyone still hates Katie

Despite receiving a barrage of boos, Hopkins lived up to her reputation as one of the most hated women on planet.

"Everybody wants to be loved... but I'm not one of those people. I'm prepared to say what a lot of people are thinking, but don't have the b***s to say," the defiant former Apprentice star said.

"I don't care if you love me or hate me. I don't like fat people, I'm not a fan of gingers and I don't like unemployed people. I'm going to get very bored of idiots, bored of people who look in the mirror a lot."

Calum will be at his womanising Best

There's a good chance that Best will be Prince Charming in this year's love triangle/story. The ladies' man revealed that he would be getting a little naughty while trying to dispel claims that he isn't a keen monogamist.

"I suppose I have a Lothario reputation but I am not a seedy guy. If I meet a girl I like and something happens organically in the house then we'll see how it goes. I have never been in love which is quite sad," he said.

No sex for Alicia Douvall

Anyone hoping for some Best/Alicia Douvall action was left disappointed. The glamour model, best known for spending £1m on her extensive plastic surgeries, said she plans on staying celibate in the house. Simon Cowell may be hoping she doesn't spend the time spilling the beans on their reported relationship - including the infamous "night of 11 times".

The Big Brother house has had a makeover

The house have been given a luxury Fairytale makeover complete with gothic forest artwork, glittering chandeliers and a banquet table. Think all your favourite fairytales with a creepy twist.
