Millions of viewers have tuned in to watch the latest line-up of celebrity hopefuls enter the Big Brother house.

Among the personalities were Hollywood actor Michael Madsen, former EastEnders star Natalie Cassidy, and shamed X Factor contestant Frankie Cocozza.

They were joined by Ryan Giggs' sister-in-law, Natasha, So Solid Crew rapper Romeo Dunn and former Wales rugby captain Gareth Thomas.

Also appearing was Loose Women star Denise Welch, Irish model Georgia Salpa, Andrew Stone from Pineapple Dance Studios and the Playboy model twins Kristina and Karissa Shannon.

Page 3 girl Nicola McLean and Kirk Norcross from the reality show The Only Way is Essex rounded up the 13 contestants.

The show kicked off with a bang when Cassidy was given the first secret task of the series just minutes after entering the house. She was forced to wear an earpiece and follow orders, including kissing Cocozza on the lips and faking an American accent.

Former Big Brother contestant Brian Dowling returned to host the show, which is in its second year on Channel 5 after being dropped by Channel 4.
