Celebrity Big Brother
Stars including TOWIE's Lauren Goodger and Matt Kemp rumoured to be entering CBB house Channel 5

Celebrity Big Brother bosses have gone to great lengths to hide the identity of the stars going into the house in the forthcoming series by disguising them in the run- up to the first live show.

The build-up to the new series has been shrouded in mystery and celebrity hopefuls have been given "foolproof" disguises to wear during rehearsals and pre-series visits to the BB house.

Despite the producers keeping tight-lipped about the possible contenders, speculation has continued to mount.

Among the contestants rumoured to be heading through the doors are former EastEnders actress Cheryl Fergison, who was spotted wearing a black balaclava outside the studio.

Fergison, who played George Michael fanatic Heather Trott, left the soap in March after five years.

Also thought to be taking part in this year's Celebrity BB series is reality star Lauren Goodger, who is reportedly following in the footsteps of Amy Childs and Kirk Norcross, her former co-stars on The Only Way is Essex.

Big Brother host Brian Dowling hinted the 25-year-old TOWIE favourite may appear during a recent interview.

He said: "Someone just said to me that they heard Lauren Goodger was going in.

"People will want to see her fall in love - that would be quite nice. She's been quite unlucky in love, with the whole Mark Wright stuff and trying to date on the show."

They will apparently be joined by stars including ex-EastEnder Martin Kemp, ex-Corrie legend Julie Goodyear, rapper MC Harvey and comedian Julian Clary.

Millions of viewers watched Loose Women presenter Denise Welch take the crown in the last series, which aired earlier this year.
