FIFA presidential candidate, Jerome Champagne, said he supports the German FA's proposal to give Qatar an ultimatum by FIFA to improve their human rights record or not be allowed to host the 2022 World Cup.
Qatar has been widely criticised over its treatment of migrant workers in the construction industry and says it is working to address the problem.
The German Football Association (DFB) President, Wolfgang Niersbach said on November 30 that Qatar should prove that they are trying to improve their human rights record or lose the hosting rights for the 2022 World Cup.
