That's that, then. Barcelona have sealed their place in the Champions League final where they will meet either Juventus or Real Madrid in Berlin.

FULL TIME:

Bayern Munich 3-2 Barcelona (3-5 on aggregate)

Oh Neymar, what are you doing?! The Brazilian is freed and shows brilliant skill to step past his man and cut inside. There is plenty of room to shoot and seal his hat-trick, but instead he opts to slide the ball across goal from the onrushing Messi who can't get there quick enough and the chance goes.

Gotze is almost in moments after the bench after being cleverly teed up by Lewandowski but Alves is across quickly to force the corner.

Three minutes of time added on.

Just a few minutes of normal time remain and here come the subs. Schweinsteiger and Müller are off, Mario Götze and Javi Martínez enter the fray.

Lewandowski, Alonso and Pedro have all been booked in the last few minutes. Getting a bit scrappy, this.

Bayern come again, this time with Neymar losing possession in the build up. Tiago takes over from Lewandowski and works his way inside from the left to find Muller. Lewandowski has made a run across goal but Muller gets his pass all wrong and the ball trickles out of play.

Messi looses possession (!!) allowing Lewandowski to race on goal before letting fly with a shot from the edge of the area that deflects out for a corner. Benatia meets it, but gets too much on it and powers over.

Bayern have another! They've been in control in the last five minutes without creating any clear cut chances, but they suddenly come alive as Schweinsteiger lays the ball off for Muller on the edge of the D, who curls another cracking strike past ter Stegen. Bayern need three more.

Goal! Bayern Munich 3-2 Barcelona (Thomas Muller, 72)

Rakitic's night is over, Jeremy Mathieu comes onto replace him.

Barcelona make a problem for themselves as Mascherano loses the ball. Lewandowski has the chance to return a pass to Muller who has broken into space but doesn't spot him, with the ball eventually finding it's way to Lahm on the right of the box. He tries to dance his way inside but is dispossessed by Pique and Barcelona clear.

Rakitic is now booked for a cynical one on Lewandowski.

A free kick lumped into the box causes a moment of panic in the Barcelona box allowing Muller to turn inside the box but he can only drag his effort wide.

What a fine finish from Lewandowski that is! Muller receives the ball from Thiago and diverts it into the path of the Poland striker on the edge of the box. Mascherano stands him up, but Lewandowski shows some wonderful footwork to shift the ball onto his right and curl a precise shot into the corner of the net.

Goal! Bayern Munich 2-2 Barcelona (Robert Lewandowski, 58)

Bernat sneaks in behind his man down the left, drawing Pique over. The full back beats him too, jinking his way into the box before he is dispossessed by a well-timed challenge from Mascherano.

Messi has half a chance to shoot in the box as a cross from Alves falls into his path but Boateng is across to intercept.

Some crisp build up play from Bayern sees Lahm pick out a cross out on the right, looking for Schweinsteiger in the box. He pulls away from his marker but can't quite bring the ball under control and the chance is gone.

We are back underway for the second half. One change for Barcelona to bring to you, Pedro has entered the fray in place of Luis Suarez.

Just the five goals Bayern need to score without reply, then.

HALF TIME:

Bayern Munich 1-2 Barcelona (1-5 on aggregate)

Two minutes of injury time added on at the end of this half.

Bayern win a free kick about 35 yards out from goal that Xabi Alonso floats onto the bonce of Benatia. The Moroccan is about 15 yards out from goal but tries to float one into the top corner. Not a bad effort, but nothing to trouble ter Stegen either.

Neymar and Suarez again combine brilliantly down the left but this time the move breaks down and Bayern can clear.

What a remarkable save from ter Stegen! Thiago again jinks his way into the box and his resulting shot deflects into the path of Lewandowski who has room to shoot on goal. Ter Stegen is leaning to his right, but shifts his weight in the other direction to get a firm hand behind the shot and keep it out. It almost trickles in but the German is quickly back up to sprawl across his goal and palm it off the line.

Bernat trots up the left flank and swings an cross into the box that Schweinsteiger flies onto, thumping a header goal bound, only for ter Stegen to again palm over. The resulting corner comes in but Lewandowski is penalised.

That Suarez flick in all its glory.

Down the right Suarez is almost in again after he, for lack of a better term, mugs of Thiago brilliantly, flicking the ball over the Spaniard's head before sprinting past him.

Too easy for Barca this time. Benatia goes up for a header to clear a long ball but misses, allowing Suarez to race into acres of space. He advances into the box and lifts a simple ball over for Neymar to his left and the Brazilian has enough time to take a touch and slot past Neuer. Suicidal defending from Bayern.

Goal! Bayern Munich 1-2 Barcelona (Neymar, 29)

A brilliant run through the middle from Thiago allows him to prod a neat ball through for Muller but his resulting shot is a poor one that ter Stegen easily saves. They should have done much better with that because...

First glimpse of goal for Messi. Neymar comes down the left and cuts the ball inside for the Argentine. His first touch sees him flick the ball up with his right, the second with his left is a shot on goal but it's fairly comfortable for Neuer.

There is still life in Bayern. Muller plays a neat one-two with Lahm and drives in from the inside right before sliding a neat ball through for Lewandowski. The striker only has enough room to toe poke a shot on goal but ter Stegen reacts well to save.

Bayern have played very well on these opening 25 minutes with a much more measured and much less mental approach to pressing their opponents than in the first leg. They still need four goals to win tonight, however, and that isn't good.

Neymar robs Lahm of possession out on the right and the Brazilian momentarily threatens to burst down the flank until Thiago slides across in the nick of time.

Ter Stegen makes a fine save to deny Bayern! Lahm curls in an inviting cross in from the right that Muller leaps wonderfully to meet with a looping header. It likes like it might drop into the top corner but the German goalkeeper palms it away.

That must be it for Bayern now, surely?

They are at it again! Lionel Messi threads a wonderful pass through for Suarez who changes pace brilliantly to sprint past Benatia. Neuer comes out to close him down but the Uruguayan slides the ball across to Neymar who strokes the ball into the back of an empty net.

Goal! Bayern Munich 1-1 Barcelona (Neymar)

Schweinsteiger now has a go from over 30 yards out by lashes wild effort well over the bar.

Muller dinks a hopeful ball in from the left for Lewandowski who is quickly swamped by Barca shirts. He tries to jink his way into a shooting position but is just about crowded it. Barcelona living dangerously at the moment.

First goal Barcelona have conceded in 645 minutes of football. Shocking really, when you consider how badly they defended that set piece.

It's on! From a corner, Benatia is found completely unmarked in the six yard area and is free to plant a precise header past ter Stegen into the corner of the net. Terrible goal for Barca to concede.

Goal! Bayern Munich 1-0 Barcelona (Benatia, 7)

Alves loses possession on the half way line and Bayern break menacingly through Muller who drives down the inside left before cutting the ball back across goal for Thiago but Pique superbly blocks his effort.

Bayern are keeping Suarez, Messi and Neymar in check, but they forgot all about Rakitic who breaks through and is picked out by Alves. The Croatian drags a shot on goal but Neuer does well to parry clear.

Muller ventures down the right and slides a ball in for the onrushing Lahm but he runs out of pitch and concedes a goal kick, despite appealing for a corner.

And we are off underway at the Allianz Arena. Can Bayern make a game out of this?

Robert Lewandowski echoes those sentiments, no one in the Bayern dressing room is feeling sorry for themselves just yet.

We have to give everything we've got. We've shown often enough what we're capable of here in Munich. It's not over yet and we'll battle to the end.

Pep Guardiola ahead of kick off:

We are the Bundesliga champions and we've had an extraordinary year, despite some difficulties.

"I've never had to solve everything based on courage alone nor have I ever told my players that we will have to be braver than our rivals.

"We have to be more aware of what our offensive duties are and, after the game, the result will speak for itself."

Despite their losses on the road (Manchester City, Porto, Barcelona) Bayern Munich remain unbeaten at home in this season's Champions League campaign. Can the fortress withstand the onslaught led by Messi, Suarez and Neymar?

BREAKING: Bayern Munich also opt for the same XI that was humbled at the Nou Camp six days ago.

Bayern team to face Barcelona: Neuer; Rafinha, Boateng, Benatia, Bernat; Alonso, Lahm, Schweinsteiger; Muller, Thiago, Lewandowski

BREAKING: Luis Enrique names the same side that eased to victory in the first leg for tonight's clash at the Allianz Arena.

Barcelona team to face Bayern Munich: Ter Stegen; Dani Alves, Pique, Mascherano, Alba; Busquets, Iniesta, Rakitic; Suarez, Neymar, Messi.

Barcelona news: Luis Enrique meanwhile can call upon the same side that thrashed the German giants last week. Ivan Rakitic was given the weekend off while Andres Iniesta and Sergio Busquets only featured as subs. Jeremy Mathieu is also back in contention.

Bayern news: Guardiola rested four first team players in the 1-0 defeat to Augsburg on Saturday, but it wasn't much of a rest for Manuel Neuer, who was called into play most of the game after Pepe Reina was sent off. The German champions are still without Franck Ribery and Arjen Robben and it doesn't get much better elsewhere in the squad with Holger Badstuber ruled out with a thigh injury and David Alaba sidelined with a knee problem.

You can probably forgive anyone for assuming Barcelona have already booked their flights for Berlin on 6 June. A 3-0 win in their first leg clash over Bayern Munich was carried out with such verve that it is difficult to envisage anything other than Luis Enrique's side dotting Is and crossing Ts this evening.

Pep Guardiola's Bayern Munich suffered defeats either side of their thrashing at the Nou Camp, they haven't scored a goal since this month. In order to save their campaign they must call upon their powers of recovery in the same way they did against Porto in the quarter-finals, where they turned around a 3-1 defeat in the first leg before winning their home tie 6-1. They will also call upon the memory of a Bayern side not too dissimilar to this one dismantling Barcelona 4-0 at tonight's venue just three years ago on their way to sealing a 7-0 aggregate win.

It's a huge ask, but no one in Bavaria has given up quite yet. We will have all your team news coming as soon as it reaches us.
