Taylor Swift and Tom Hiddleston are everything that defines a couple in love; and their recent appearance for a date night in Santa Monica only proves that they are enjoying each other's company to the T. After The Night Manager actor returned from his SDCC trip, he and his pop star girlfriend hit it up at the city's Hillstone restaurant for a cozy meal on Wednesday, 27 July.

Although, the pair is not the one to shy from displaying their affection in the public, they decided to keep their recent date low key. A Us Weekly report claims that Swift and Hiddleston entered the eatery through the back door after which they were taken to the less crowded second floor.

For the night out with the 35-year-old English actor, Swift donned her signature red pout with an all-black ensemble. She paired her velvet crop top and skirt with metallic Nicholas Kirkwood Casati T Bar Sandals and an Etro handbag.

Hiddleston complemented his beau's style with a debonair look in blue Etro paisley shirt and J Brand jeans. According to an onlooker, "not many people in the restaurant realized they (Swift and Hiddleston) were there."

If rumours are to be believed, barring this outing, the celebrity couple has been spending most of their time together nested in Swift's Beverly Hills mansion. "Taylor and Tom have been spending a lot of time holed up in her Beverly Hills love nest. Except for going out for dinner, Taylor and Tom have been spending most of their last couple days alone together intimately enjoying each other's company," a source told Hollywood Life.

Adding about the much-talked couple's high profile romance, the source continued, "No friends, no phone calls, no visitors and rarely going out of the house. They are mostly ignoring the world and are focusing on each other. Just two love birds home alone having fun being in love."

The news comes after Swift's recent tiff with Kim Kardashian over her husband, Kanye West's Famous lyrics. Perhaps this privacy was much needed following the controversies surrounding the singer and the rapper.
