Chelsea are looking to steal a march on Tottenham for the transfer of Moussa Dembele from Fulham. The 19-year-old's contract with the Championship club ends this summer and the Blues have offered him a deal to transfer to Stamford Bridge in the upcoming window.

The Daily Mail reports that a lot of clubs across Europe are interested in his signature with Tottenham among the favourites to bring him to north London. The striker has scored 16 goals this season and Spurs were on the verge of completing a deal in January but the transfer fell through as Fulham wanted to keep him on loan till the end of the season.

The player wants to play first team football to aid his development and Chelsea are good to send him on loan if first team chances are hard to come by. Tottenham, on the other hand will be hoping that their history of promoting young talent, such as Dele Alli, Harry Kane will turn the tide in their favour.

Fulham are likely to insist that Dembele moves to a club in the Premier League as they will be due some compensation under rules set by the FA. A transfer abroad, with Juventus and Bayern Munich waiting, will be a free transfer.

Meanwhile, Spurs are keeping a close eye on West Bromwich Albion striker Saido Berahino, with a deal having fallen through last summer after the club owner refused to let him leave on deadline day. However, a deal has reportedly been struck and the England international is likely to make his way to White Hart Lane in the upcoming transfer window.

Chelsea are also set for major changes in the upcoming campaign, with Antonio Conte set to take over at the helm after the European Championships in France. The Italian, who has won the title with Juventus, will replace Guus HIddink, who had taken over on an interim basis after Jose Mourinho's departure.
