Chelsea take on Newcastle United in the weekend Premier League clash at Stamford Bridge on 13 February, Saturday.

Where to watch

Kick-off is at 5.30pm GMT. Live coverage is on Sky Sports 1 and Sky Sports 1 HD. Catch the highlights of the game on Match of the Day on BBC One and BBC One HD at 10.30pm GMT.

Overview

Chelsea come into this fixture after a late goal from Diego Costa helped them avoid a defeat at the hands of Manchester United in the last fixture at Stamford Bridge. The Brazil-born Spain international has a broken nose, which he picked during the training session and despite that, he is expected to start against the Magpies.

Since Guus Hiddink took charge of the west London club in December, they are unbeaten in all competitions. However, the Blues have struggled to get results in their favour as the majority of these fixtures under the Dutchman have ended in a draw.

Newcastle enter this match after sealing a narrow 1-0 victory over West Bromwich Albion. Cheick Tiote's brilliant strike was called offside because Aleksandar Mitrovic was obstructing the goalkeeper's view.

However, Mitrovic managed to score one for Steve McClaren's side and his strike was the difference between Newcastle and West Brom. The Tyneside club's boss will be hoping his side can seal another victory over the Blues on Saturday.

What managers say

Guus Hiddink: "Yesterday in training Diego got in a duel, got his nose broken. It was not this tough duel, but he put his nose on the back of the head and he was very unlucky. Today is the day they put on a mask. We are a team with a lot of masks. A Zorro team. I hope. I'm not sure, but I think he will be available."

Steve McClaren: "We have got to go there (Chelsea) with no fear and have a go. We owe it to the fans and hopefully we can get a good result. Guus has done a great job. He's settled them down and made them hard to beat. They've got so many talented players. The focus for our players is us, not our opponents. We have to start picking up points away from home."
