Cheryl Cole
Is the singer planning to move into acting?

Hollywood actor Zach Galifianakis has hinted that Cheryl Cole will star in The Hangover 3.

Galifianakis, who soared to fame after starring in the first two movies, fuelled mounting rumours the 29-year-old singer will appear in the third instalment of the blockbuster comedy after admitting there is ''something'' to the rumours.

Galifianakis recently told FHM magazine: "I have heard the rumours about her making a cameo and there seems to be something to them. But I don't know if anything's signed yet."

Parachute hitmaker Cole, who made her film debut with Girls Aloud in the 2007 St Trinian's movie, had a brief cameo in What to Expect When You Are Expecting earlier this year. She played herself in the role of a TV dance talent show panellist in the romantic comedy.

Filming for The Hangover 3, which is directed by Todd Phillips, is currently underway in Los Angeles.

It will see stars including Bradley Cooper, Ed Helms and Justin Bartha reprise their roles from the first two films, while boxer Mike Tyson is confirmed for another cameo.

Although the producers have kept tight-lipped about exact plot details, the following strapline has been released:

"This time, there's no wedding. No bachelor party. What could go wrong, right? But when the Wolfpack hits the road, all bets are off."

Cole is currently prepping to reunite with Girls Aloud to release a new single, due for release in November.
