Girl pulled from underneath bus

A three-year old girl has miraculously survived without serious injury after being hit by and trapped beneath a bus.

According to reports, the girl was hit when the vehicle span out of control in Laiyang City, Shandong Province.

The driver swerved to avoid an oncoming car, straight into the path of the oncoming girl, who was riding her electric bike down the pavement.

Rescue services arrived at the scene to find the little girl pinned under the bus with only her head and chest exposed. Attempts to lift the bus failed, because the ground was too soft to support a jack.

Fire-fighters then spent eight minutes digging the girl out from underneath the vehicle, before sending her to hospital, where doctors gave the remarkable news that she was ok.
