In a video relased on Instagram, Chris Brown tells his fans how he was pulled over by police in Amsterdam for riding a dirt bike without plates. He said: "Public service announcement: Kids, do not ride motor vehicles without license plates."

Brown went on to describe the Dutch police as "cool as s***".

He added: "The police are really nice about it man. I actually like the police out here. Cool as s***, for real." In the video, the police made it clear that they had no clue who the famous performer was but Breezy somehow was still able to charm his way out of some serious charges.

According to TMZ, Brown was visiting one of Amsterdam's famous coffee shops. In the Netherlands, the sale of cannabis for personal consumption by the public in coffee shops is tolerated by the local authorities. One of the major events for Amsterdam coffee shops is the High Times Cannabis Cup, which takes place towards the end of November, during the week of Thanksgiving.

TMZ posted a comical video of a women complaining to the police about the Royalty star's driving skills but the singer did not take the complaints seriously and continued to joke about the situation.

This is the second time this week that the singer has taken to social media to explain his run-in with the law. Last weekend, Brown posted a video on Instagram to strongly deny claims that he assaulted a fan when hosting a night at Cannes' Gotha nightclub last month. The 27-year-old star used the social media platform to defend himself, and claimed that it was in fact the Loyal hit-maker himself who was physically provoked.

"F*** you," he begins in the video, before stating: "no fans were hurt by Chris Brown, no fans were beat up by Chris Brown."

He continues in the rant by claiming it was actually him that was assaulted during the evening: "His staff though, security, I don't think he probably knew who I was, I don't care, but he assaulted me.

"Grabbed his hands around my throat and tried to push me out the spot when we were walking, my security was already outside of the spot."
