American singer Christina Aguilera is reportedly pregnant with her second child.
The 33-year-old Grammy Award winning singer and fiancé Matthew Rutler, who recently got engaged, are set to welcome their first child together.
"They're very much in love and are really excited to take this next step!" a source close to the couple told People.
Aguilera was married to music marketer Jordan Bratman in 2005 and has a son named Max Liron Bratman together. However, the two filed for divorce in October 2010.
During an interview on Ellen DeGeneres' US chat show in 2010, Aguilera said she wants to concentrate on being a good mother to her son.
"He's the love of my life, and I adore him. He's such a character, and he's so happy and at the end of the day, that's what's most important," she said.
Meanwhile, Aguilera had previously revealed that she faced a lengthy battle with her record company over her weight, and was urged to slim down drastically for the sake of her image. However, Rutler loved her in her natural state.
"As long as I'm happy in my own skin, that's all I need, that's all the confirmation I need," the singer continued, "I'm happy where I am, I have a boyfriend that loves my body, I love my body, my son is healthy and happy. That's all that matters."
