Trott
England's Trott prepares to leave the field after being dismissed by India's Sreesanth for 4 during the second cricket test match at Trent Bridge in Nottingham.

England 69-2 (Strauss 29, Pietersen 26)

England lost two early wickets as India seized the upper hand in the first session of the Second Test at Trent Bridge.

But England recovered well after losing Alastair Cook and Jonathan Trott cheaply.

Cook was lbw to Sharma for just 2, while Trott was caught on his crease by the recalled Sreesanth for 4.

Andrew Strauss (29) and Kevin Pietersen (26) steadied English nerves to finish on 69/2 at lunch.
