Cabaye flings another one into the box that Scott Dann can reach, but his header is straight at Mignolet.

Lovren now crashes into the back of Bolasie to win a free kick for his side a good 30 yards out. That was clever from the Palace forward, got to the ball ahead of his man and waited for the challenge.

Bolasie does tremendously well with above three Liverpool players on him, cutting across goal before lifting a wonderful ball back across to the far post for Adebayor, but the striker doesn't anticipate it and Flanagan can clear.

Palace finally manage to clear and Zaha threatens to break but Moreno does just enough to hold him up.

Milner takes it and thrashes one on goal, but it comes off Bolasie and out for a corner.

Firmino comes short for a pass from Henderson and is fouled by Cabaye. It was a clumsy challenge and Liverpool have a decent chance here from about 25 yards out.

And Liverpool get us started at a rocking Selhurst Park.

The teams are making their way out from the tunnel onto the pitch; kick off is a couple of minutes away.

With Bournemouth winning again yesterday, Palace are now seriously looking over their shoulder. Their relegation form has seen them drop dangerously close to the drop zone and are now just seven points above 18th placed Norwich City.

Palace have won just one league game in their last 11, but if recent results are anything to go by, they firmly have Liverpool's number. The south east London club have won their last three league games against the Reds, spoiling a few parties along the way too. Their win at Anfield back in November consigned Klopp to his first defeat as Liverpool boss, while they ran riot in what was Steven Gerrard's last game for the club at the end of last season.

Before that winning streak, there was that 3-3 at Selhurst Park, where the Eagles came from three down to draw 3-3 in a game that ended Liverpool's title dreams.

Are Liverpool in with a shout of Champions League qualification? It seems unlikely, but three points this afternoon will move them up to seventh, just three points behind Manchester City.

Jurgen Klopp has opted not to recall Philippe Coutinho to his side this afternoon, he remains on the bench that has plenty of firepower on it in Daniel Sturridge. Oh, Christian Benteke is also there.

A couple of interesting selection decisions from Alan Pardew, then. Jordon Mutch drops to the bench while the manager has turned to Alex McCarthy to deputise rather than veteran Julian Speroni.

Alberto Moreno meanwhile returns to the team with Jon Flanagan moves back to right-back.

Palace team to face Liverpool: McCarthy; Ward, Dann, Delaney, Souare; Zaha, Jedinak (c), Cabaye, Ledley, Bolasie; Adebayor.

TEAM NEWS: Crystal Palace

Jurgen Klopp has turned to Lucas Leiva in recent times to fill in at centre half but no longer has that option with the Brazilian ruled out for at least five weeks. Daniel Sturridge trained as normal this week after complaining of a foot cramp last Sunday - one that prevented him from taking a spot kick in the penalty shoot out with Crystal Palace.

TEAM NEWS: Liverpool

Connor Wickham has scored four goals in two games for Palace but a minor knock suffered in the 2-2 draw with Sunderland leaves him a doubt this afternoon. Alan Pardew must also make a late decision on goalkeeper Wayne Hennessey, but does have Julian Speroni and Alex McCarthy in reserve. Papa Soare meanwhile is set to return to the first-team.
