Liverpool announced on Thursday that they had parted company with Damien Comolli, their former director of football, in the wake of a number of questionable signings who have failed to inspire the club to Champions League qualification.

Comolli arrived at Anfield in November 2010 and helped bring in Luis Suarez, Craig Bellamy and Jose Enrique during his brief spell on Merseyside.

However, he also oversaw the signings of Andy Carroll, Jordan Henderson and Charlie Adam and their mediocre impact was a contributing factor in his departure from Liverpool.

And while Liverpool manager Kenny Dalglish had the final say on all signings, it was Comolli who was deemed responsible for the Merseysider's calamitous Premier League campaign.

With this in mind, IBTimes Sport gives the final verdict on Comolli's Liverpool signings.
