Harry Potter actor Daniel Radcliffe became emotional as he received his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame on Thursday (12 November). Radcliffe, who has grown up in the spotlight since landing the coveted role of Harry Potter at the age of 11, talked about how he has never taken his career for granted to a crowd of media and fans.

The 26-year-old vowed that he would "never stop feeling lucky to be here" and thanked his parents, who had flown out to Los Angeles for the ceremony. Radcliffe was presented with the 2,565th star during the ceremony in Los Angeles, California. His star can be located in front of the Dolby Theatre in the 6800 block of Hollywood Boulevard.

Radcliffe not only unveiled his star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame but also his shaved head. The actor will next be seen in the film Victor Frankenstein, which goes on release in UK on 3 December.
