Andy Murray will face Jo-Wilfried Tsonga in the second singles rubber of Great Britain's Davis Cup World Group quarter-final against France at Queen's Club on Friday (17 July).

The draw for the tie also confirmed that world number 89 James Ward will start things off with a match against Gilles Simon, with Jamie Murray and Dominic Inglot to go up against Wimbledon semi-finalist Richard Gasquet and Nicolas Mahut in the doubles the following day.

Murray will then meet Simon in the reverse singles clash on Sunday (19 July) and Ward is scheduled to wrap things up against Tsonga should proceedings progress that far.

Matches scheduled for days two and three are subject to change, however, if captains Leon Smith and Arnaud Clement should choose to shake things up.

Victory for the hosts against a formidably strong French team containing only one player outside the world's top 20 would see them reach the semi-finals of the competition for the first time since 1981.

In the weekend's other last-eight matches, Australia host Kazakhstan at the Marrara Sporting Complex in Darwin, Argentina face Serbia and Belgium go up against defending champions Switzerland.
