Stunning aerial footage has been released that shows off the beauty of Ireland's west coast from the sky.

The amazing footage, shot by filmmaker Raymond Fogarty with a drone and GoPro camera, and supported by Fáilte Ireland (Irish Tourism trade support), captures the beauty of Ireland's Wild Atlantic Way from above.

The sensational locations shot in the 90 second video include Doonamo Point, County Mayo, Kinnagoe Beach, County Donegal and the Cliffs of Moher, County Clare.

The Wild Atlantic Way, said to be the world's longest defined coastal touring route, was launched in April 2014. It has garnered huge publicity overseas, and there are plans to develop it further in 2015.
