The film follows the story of ambitious young navigator Moana who lives in the ancient South Pacific land known as Oceania. She teams up with her hero, a jovial demi-god known as Maui, to set sail in search of a legendary island, encountering mythological creatures and mystical lands along the way.
The Disney film has been directed by Ron Clements and John Musker, and co-stars Alan Tudyk and Hamilton's Phillipa Soo. Another member of the Broadway hit's cast, creator Lin-Manuel Miranda, has developed original songs for the movie. Moana is set to release on 23 November.
