Ecuador take on Peru in their second Group B game at the University of Phoenix Stadium, Glendale, Arizona on Wednesday (8 June).

Overview

Peru are on top of Group B after winning their opening game against Haiti, they were the only team in the group to get all three points after Ecuador and Brazil shared the spoils in their opening game. Veteran striker Paolo Guerrero was the difference in the opening game and will be hoping to fire his side in the second round with a win against the La Tri.

Ecuador on the other hand need at least a draw to keep their hopes alive of making it to the second round after their draw against Brazil. The Los Incas (Peru) have fared well in the last two editions of the Copa America and will hope to make it to the quarter-finals with a win over their border-rivals on Wednesday.
