Emily Ratajkowski is threatening to break the internet with her latest Instagram posts, which are excerpts from her appearance in 2017's Love Advent.

The 26-year-old model, who is renowned for wearing very little clothing on social media, treated her 15.8m followers with two clips of her writhing in spaghetti, but not all were impressed.

Ratajkowski, who is an apparent lover of carbs and junk food, is seen lying on a table covered in a white table cloth which is strewn with pasta and sauce.

Oiled up and wearing just red and cream high-waisted lace lingerie and fingerless gloves, the model attempted to set pulses racing among her followers.

She captioned the first clip: ''The wait is over!☃️#LOVEADVENT2017 is OUT! Link in bio@thelovemagazine @kegrand@sallylyndley @philpoynter'' which was met with a mixed response.

Some followers accused Ratajkowski for using Sofia Loren's quote about pasta for the shoot, with one person commenting: "Riding on the coat-tails of Sophia Loren to justify this stupid photo-shoot?? She ate pasta, not rolled around in it. Pathetic attempt. Lol"

The Hollywood legend once said: "Everything you see, I owe to spaghetti."

Another social media user commented: "Ewwwwee !!!!!! Its a food darling not a f***ing thing to play with it"

While two more people simply put: ''Disgusting''.

The second clip didn't fair much better, as Ratajkowski seductively sat up on the pasta table while pretending to eat some spaghetti. One follower commented: "And people dead cause they are hungry The world is good".

Someone else said: "I think you need to speak to your agent or squire a new one darling! Your better than that much better!!!"

The fashion publication launched its calendar on Friday, marking the first of many videos to feature the world's sexiest women. Some of the stars this year include Gigi and Bella Hadid, Ashley Graham, Kendall Jenner, Stella Maxwell and Kate Upton among others.
