Thousands of English and Swedish supporters gathered in the fan zone in the centre of Ukraine's capital ahead of the game later today.

English fans dressed up as St. George knights and the Swedish fans were wearing masks of striker Zlatan Ibrahimovic hours before their countries were to meet in their group D match.

Take a look at these two English fans, who offered their own unique take on things and it looks like the second man has already started to get into the holiday spirit.

The game is important for both teams. Sweden lost its first game 2-1 against the Euro 2012 co-hosts Ukraine, and England drew 1-1 with France. Sweden currently holds the last place in its group and goes to the match knowing that defeat would end the team's chances of progressing to the knockout stages.
