Team GB claimed their 17th gold medal of the London 2012 Olympic Games by winning the team show jumping competition.

Trailing Saudi Arabia going into round two, Great Britain's quartet of Nick Skelton, Ben Maher, Scott Brash and Peter Charles hit the top of the leaderboard prior to the final round from the Netherlands, who suffered just one fault in their final course to clinch a ride-off.

After Skelton and Maher went clear, and Brash suffered one down, Charles produced a nerve-jangling clear round to secure gold in the tie-break.
