Arsenal youngster Alex Iwobi admits playing alongside Danny Welbeck is a "dream" for him. The 19-year-old midfielder and the England international were instrumental in the Gunners' 2-0 win against Everton at Goodison Park yesterday (19 March), and Iwobi feels their respective styles are complementary.

Iwobi scored his first Premier League goal in the game against the Toffees, after Welbeck had given Arsenal the lead. Following the game, Iwobi revealed how much he relishes playing alongside the dynamic striker.

"It is a dream playing with him. He gives me confidence, he is helping me out and gives me advice," the Arsenal star told the club's official website.

Iwobi – who also impressed during Arsenal's Champions League second leg game against Barcelona in midweek – admitted he is relishing his opportunity in the first team and is already looking forward to their next match against Watford on 2 April.

"It is not bad, I'm enjoying the moment. I'm just happy to help my team and that is a positive so we will take that into the next game," the new Arsenal hero shared.

Despite their recent elimination from the Champions League, Iwobi revealed the atmosphere within the Arsenal squad remains upbeat and he said they are determined to finish their Premier League campaign in style. "Even though we have had a difficult week, we are trying to put that aside and concentrate on the league," he explained.
