FULL TIME: Everton 0-2 Manchester City

City's sumptuous start to the season continues, they sit top of the Premier League table after a comfortable win at Goodison Park.

With the job done, Fabian Delph comes off the bench for his City debut with Silva coming off. The Spaniard has been operating on a different level this afternoon, sublime display.

It's a wonderful second for City. Nasri cuts into the box, playing a clever one two with Toure who returns his pass with a wonderful dinked efforts that carves Everton wide open. Nasri springs clear and clips the ball over Howard, a sublime finish to match the build up.

Goal! Everton 0-2 Manchester City (Samir Nasri)

Kompany clears off the line! Suddenly City look a bit shaky at the back. Moments after Hart made a meal out of punching the ball clear off his line, another ball into the box finds Barry at the far post. He nods down but Kompany swings a boot across to clear.

Howard makes amends of sorts, however, taking Aguero's powerful effort flush in the face.

City have a deserved lead! Sterling drives towards the box before slipping through an inviting ball for the overlapping Kolarov. The Serbian takes on a first time shot and finds the far corner with a powerful effort from the tightest of angles. Tim Howard was perhaps beaten a little to easily there.

Goal! Everton 0-1 Manchester City (Aleksander Kolarov)

City denied by the woodwork! Sterling cuts in from the left and slips a wonderful reverse pass into the path of Silva, who takes one touch before hammering a shot against the post. Everton clear, for now.

And we are back underway for the second half at Goodison Park.

HALF TIME: Everton 0-0 Manchester City

Lukaku close to giving his side the lead! The Belgian wins the argument to take the free kick and smashes a wonderful effort up and over the wall, leaving Hart rooted to the spot. But it doesn't come down in time, nicking the top off the cross bar to go over.

Another surging run through City, this time from Tom Cleverley. Just as he is about to break into the box however Fernandinho slides in and concedes the free kick. I don't think he had to do that either, Kompany looked well place to intercept the former Manchester United midfielder, but there you go.

Barkley takes the free kick but it's a poor effort, sailing hopelessly over the bar.

After a stop in play while Galloway receives treatment, Barkley embarks on a powerful run through the middle of City's midfield, leaving Toure behind him before he is tripped on the edge of the box by Mangala. Everton free kick.

City are all over Everton at the minute. Stones sticks a knee across Aguero in a vain attempt to stop the Argentine, conceding a free kick, but his partner at the back Jagielka is on the scene to clear. Moments later City are back again and Jagielka makes a tremendous sliding challenge to nick the ball away from Aguero just as is about to pull the trigger on the edge of the box.

Mangala concedes a corner that Cleverley swings in. It veers out towards the edge of the box where Jagielka meets it with a thumping header 18 yards out from goal, but his effort is just over the bar.

Lukaku has the ball in the back of the net! Kone slips a ball in from the left to find Cleverley whose attempted pass deflects straight into the path of the Belgian. He makes a hash of his initial attempt but sticks it away at the second time of asking, but the offside flag is up. Never mind, then.

Everything is running through David Silva at the moment. The Spaniard looks in imperious form today and is unlocking Everton at will.

Kone tracks back and wins the ball just outside his own box but dawdles and is robbed of possession by Silva. The Spaniard whips a delightful ball across the face of goal with Sterling unable to extend himself far enough to poke it home at the far post.

Another good save from Howard denies City. Silva and Navas combine brilliantly down the right with the winger cutting a precise cross back to Aguero whose lurking just outside the six yard area. He drills a first time effort on goal but Howard blocks well.

City launch the first attack of the game. Lukaku's loose touch invites the away side forward with Aguero firing off a shot from a tight angle after being slipped through by Silva. Howard is equal to it, however, blocking with his legs.

And we are off and underway at Goodison Park.
