Sebastian Vettel

I think it was a good race for us. I was hoping we could do something at the start, but it wasn't possible. They were a bit quicker, but we were probably a bit closer than other years. Not very exciting, I didn't have anyone to fight with, but a good race.

Lewis Hamilton

I just killed my tyres. It's such a shame - it's a great track, but you just can't get close enough to fight. I'm here to race, and when you both have to do the same order, it's kind of set from the beginning. I think that's what people want to see, but today it was relatively boring following in the tow. Nico has been driving fantastically well.

Nico Rosberg

It was a great weekend for me here. Everything relative with what happened in Paris, but still very happy. I was able to control it and never give him a chance. I am pushing now, I was pushing at the beginning. I don't have an exact explanation for why it is going so well now.

It is only for the second time Nico Rosberg has won consecutive races as he has extended his career record to 13 wins after the success in the 2015 Brazilian Grand Prix. Lewis Hamilton's wait for his first win at Interlagos continues after he finished second on Sunday.

Sebastian Vettel

"Yeah, it gave us a bit of hope in Q2 definitely but I saw that Nico had quite a couple of mistakes in his lap in Q2, so I knew that Q3 would be really difficult to get really close. I think in the end we were able to improve the car from yesterday, which is the most important thing, also looking for tomorrow's race

"Yeah, no doubt I would have loved to be a bit closer. Nevertheless it's the optimum for us today. Tomorrow could be an interesting one. Yesterday we saw a lot of people sliding, including ourselves, so with the tyres it could be an interesting race."

Lewis Hamilton

It was good today [qualifying], actually. I got a really balance with the car, I was very happy with the work we did with the engineers, the laps were looking quite good, very good through Q1 and Q2 and just Q3, I just wasn't able to find that small bit of edge. I think at the end I didn't maximise the first sector but the other two sectors were OK.

Nico Rosberg

"Yes, a little bit [the title has gone]. Because my main goal is to fight for the championship - and that is over. But at the same time I come here and race to win. And if I have the chance to win I want to do it. I put every effort into it. And he does the same. So yes, it stays intense!"
