Fabrice Muamba

A smiling Fabrice Muamba has been photographed on Twitter two weeks after the Bolton Wanderers midfielder suffered a cardiac arrest at White Hart Lane.

It is the first image to be released of Muamba since he collapsed during the FA Cup tie against Tottenham on 17 March.

The 23-year-old's heart stopped beating for 78 minutes as he was treated on the pitch and in the ambulance en route to the London Chest Hospital.

He remains in intensive care but has been able to eat and sit up in bed and he watched Bolton's FA Cup clash with Tottenham on Tuesday.
