The annual Vogue Fashion's Night Out takes place Thursday 8 September and retailers across the city will be opening their doors to all for a worldwide shopping party.

Fashion Night Out, now in its third year, promotes the fashion industry and gives shoppers a reason to spend money, have fun and enjoy the newest looks for the fall season.

Conceived by Vogue Editor-in-Chief Anna Wintour, the event started in 2009 in New York as a way to celebrate fashion, restore consumer confidence and boost the industry's economy during the recession.

Here is our selection of the top five things to enjoy in London's Fashion Night Out:

1. Topshop: Head to Topshop's Oxford Circus store to have a chance to make your own film clips projected onto a huge in-store video grid; topshop.com .
