Fifa 17 top 10 best defenders: Boateng, Ramos and Silva top list

The highest-rated defenders in EA Sports' latest with passing, dribbling and shooting stats.

As Fifa 17 nears, players will be wanting to know who the best players in the game are as they start new seasons of Fifa Ultimate Team, hoping to assemble the best possible team with the best possible chemistry to take on the world.

EA Sports has already revealed the Top 50 rated players in the game, and from that we've taken the top ten best-ranked defenders in the game and listed their stats for pace (PAC), shooting (SHO), passing (PAS), dribbling (DRI), defending (DEF) and physicality (PHY).

Bayern Munich's Jérôme Boateng tops the list, ahead of Real Madrid's Sergio Ramos. Thiago Silva of PSG sits in third, ahead of Pepe and Philipp Lahm. In sixth there's Atletico Madrid's Diego Godin, ahead of Giorgio Chiellini, David Alaba, Leonardo Bonnuci and Mats Hummels.
