Voting at the Fifa presidential election has gone to a second round after neither candidate secured a two-thirds majority in the first round

Sepp Blatter has defeated Prince Ali Bin al-Hussein in the Fifa presidential election in Zurich.

Voting was about to go to a second round after neither of the candidates managed to secure the required two-thirds majority in the first round.

However, the al-Hussein announced he was leaving the leadership race to allow Blatter a fifth term.
