FIFA Goal of the Season: Manchester United Star Heads Shortlist

Wayne Rooney's spectacular overhead strike against Manchester City has been included on the shortlist for FIFA's Goal of the Year award.

FIFA's Puskas Award includes goals from Lionel Messi, Santos wunderkind Neymar, Zlatan Ibrahimovic and Heather O'Reilly - the only woman on the list.

Manchester United striker Rooney is among the favourites to pick up the award for his stunning bicycle kick in the Manchester derby on 12 February this year. Other front-runners include Neymar's wonderful solo effort, and Ibrahimovic's stunning strike against Lecce.
