It may not have a director yet and not due to be released until 2017 but Fifty Shades Darker has already got itself a leaked teaser trailer.

The first instalment of the saga, Fifty Shades Of Grey, is set to come out in the US on DVD and Blu-ray on 8 May (22 June in the UK) and Universal announced, via the official Twitter page, there would be a teaser trailer for the upcoming sequel within the special features of the movie.

However, not even a week this was revealed, it appears a fan may have leaked the teaser trailer on to YouTube on 30 April. While we cannot confirm that the footage is real since it does not seem to have a legitimate origin, lovers of the franchise are getting very excited about this alleged never-before-seen clip.

The 14-second snippet builds on the image Universal released on 24 April, which depicted a suited-and-booted Christian Grey (Jamie Dornan) wearing a masquerade mask, as the trailer sees him preparing for the event he is all dressed up for alongside the question "are you ready for something darker?"

The second film will be adapted to the big screen by author EL James's husband, Niall Leonard, and will see stars Dakota Johnson, Rita Ora and Luke Grimes reprise their roles from the first film, alongside Dornan.

There has been no indication as to who will direct the second instalment since director of the first film, Sam Taylor-Johnson, pulled out of continuing the series due to differences and ill-feeling between herself and James while shooting Fifty Shades Of Grey.
