A wildfire in Riverside County, California has forced the evacuation of some homes in the area and burned nearly 150 acres of land, authorities said on Thursday.

About 200 firefighters aided by helicopters are on the scene battling the blaze.

The fire is thought to have started near Rio Road near Calle Hermosa in Jurupa Valley and the cause is under investigation, according to officials.

No injuries have been reported.
