It has taken almost a year and a very honest video but YouTube vloggers Zoella and Gabby are friends again. Their millions of subscribers, who campaigned for the pair to rekindle their bond, will be pleased to know the vloggers have been spending time together to rebuild their friendship.

Just two weeks after she bared the honest truth, Gabby, real name Gabriella Lindley, is now back in contact with her former best friend, who gushed about their day out in Brighton on Instagram. Alongside an image of the fun Polaroid photos they took together, Zoella wrote: "Had a really lovely day with @velvetgh0st today. It was just like old times and it made me really happy."

Gabby, 20, returned the sentiment by sharing her own photo from their day out with the caption: "I had the loveliest day laughing my cares away in the grass with @zozeebo aka Sohie. Love you lots and lots." The vloggers are now planning to film a brand new YouTube video together of their reactions to the Pretty Little Liars mid-season finale, much to the delight of their fans.

In an emotional video posted on 28 July, Gabby explained why she and Zoella, real name Zoe Sugg, stopped speaking towards the end of 2014 and details her Twitter feud with Zoella's boyfriend and fellow YouTube vlogger Alfie Deyes. Gabby said: "Myself and Alfie had a disagreement on Twitter and people have blown that so out of proportion, we don't hate each other, at least from my end I don't hate him."

She added: "We are not these enemies that everybody is saying that we are, it's got ridiculous now. It was just a disagreement." Speaking directly of Zoella, 25, Gabby explained: "It's not very nice to admit you're probably the reason a friendship ended. I never meant for it to end. I think part of it is down to the fact that I've tweeted things in the past that are not about Zoe and Alfie but viewers have kind of made them about them, which is not cool at all."

Zoella is one of the most successful YouTube vloggers in the UK with more than 8.8 million subscribers to her main channel, while Gabby is a popular rising talent amassing more than 662,000 followers in less than two years.
