Freshly leaked press images of Samsung's Galaxy Tab S 10.5in have surfaced online ahead of the tablet's scheduled launch on 12 June in New York, with due credit to prolific leakster, @evleaks, for publishing the latest snapshots on its website.
According to Android Central, the press images confirm several features of the device that were rumoured earlier including the 10.5in AMOLED with 2560 x 1600 pixels, an Octa-core Exynos 5420 processor (four 1.9GHz Cortex-A15 cores and four 1.3GHz Cortex-A7 cores), 3GB of RAM and fingerprint scanner.
Other key confirmed features of the tablet include perforated (dotted) side panels that allegedly port connectors for Samsung's forthcoming book cover and a thin body profile.
On the connectivity front, the tablet is expected to feature Wi-Fi a/b/g/n/ac, Bluetooth 4.0 LE, IR blaster, GPS/GLONASS and LTE support.
The Galaxy Tab S is expected to run Android 4.4.2 KitKat out of the box with Magazine UX user interface (UI) and include software features found in Galaxy S5 such as Ultra Power Saving Mode, Download Booster and more.
Though there is no official confirmation about the specifications, availability or price details of the tablet, it is expected to ship in three screen sizes: 8.4in, 10.5in and 13.3in variants at the time of launch.
