It was hats, hats and more hats at Giorgio Armani's collection at the 2012 Milan Fashion Week. Fedora-style hats were seen paired with most of the creations worn in a slight tilted fashion to give a sexy masculine look.

In all, the collection was an interesting combination of modern cuts, vibrant shades and sleek trouser looks. The show started with grey trouser suits matched with the fedora hats. One of the most successful designers to come out of Italy, Armani is known for his clean, tailored lines.

"The look is rockabilly, reflecting a fun, bad-girl attitude," the AFP quoted the Armani team saying, but the brand's mix of masculine clothes with feminine colored prints in oranges, fuchsias and reds received a mixed reaction in the audience.

The Italian designer also made use of large flat taffeta roses for cloths that seemed as thick as fur but had smooth taffeta sleeves for a game of contrasts.

Another major highlight of the show was the black Bermuda pieces that were paired with bright blouses and shirts or coupled with shimmering sequined evening jackets.

The shoes primarily included flat slippers with floral themes or shiny masculine lace-up shoes.
