The much-talked about $20 million custom-made massive mansion of supermodel Gisele Bundchen and football player Tom Brady in California is almost complete and the couple is all set to move into their lush house as per recent reports.

Located in a canyon in the Brentwood area of the Los Angeles district, construction of the house began around 18 months earlier.

The 22,000 square feet building boasts a large garage space with six cars parking facility, eight bedrooms, a nursery, a huge wine cellar, a lagoon-shaped swimming pool and a weights room among others. The lush building is also in a neighbourhood which is home to a host of other celebrities like Arnold Schwarzenegger and Heidi Klum.

According to reports, the couple paid $11.75 million for the 3.6 acre plot of land in 2008. The property has views of the ocean, city, and surrounding canyons.

The supermodel has mentioned that she has opted for green-construction mode with the use of rainwater recovery systems, energy-saving lighting, sustainable building materials, waste reduction and recycling programs.

Gisele's affinity towards eco-friendly materials is not only limited to her home construction. In Nov.2011, the supermodel was given the most eco-friendly celebrity award at the annual Green Awards in London. Besides this, she is engaged in a number of environmental friendly campaigns and is also a goodwill ambassador for the United Nations' Environment Program.
