Reports suggest Kanye West will be joined by Coldplay singer Chris Martin and Rapper 2 Chainz when he headlines Glastonbury on Saturday (27 June).

A source close to West told the Daily Star: "Chris [Martin] loves Glastonbury and is part of the family there. With this being Kanye's first time he's asked Chris for advice and wants to make sure it's a special performance."

Martin was a featured artist on the 38-year-old rapper's 2007 song Homecoming, after he simultaneously helped West write the track.

West's fellow hip-hop star 2 Chainz is also heavily rumoured to be appearing. Earlier this week, producer Mike Will Made took to his personal Twitter account to share an image of himself, 2 Chainz and West alongside the caption: "On Saturday, Expect something new."

West and 2 Chainz, both born in Atlanta, recently collaborated at the city's Birthday Bash 20, where they performed 2 Chainz' track Birthday.

Glastonbury Festival organiser Emily Eavis further added to the excitement shared by Yeezy fans attending the weekend event (23-28 June), when she revealed that she thinks "he'll create an incredible show."

She went on to comment: "What he's talking about at the moment is very exciting. I think he's going to take it big. I can't say anything - I can't give anything away!"
