Gold Prices at One-Month Low; Importers Active

Gold prices fell further on Friday to stay near their lowest level in a month, weighed by a stronger rupee amid flat overseas markets, prompting importers to stock up the yellow metal for the wedding season. Silver also declined.

With only a mere hand held metal detector to use, an amateur Australian prospector has unearthed a huge gold nugget, believed to be weighing 5.5kg or 177 ounces, in Ballarat which value could reach to a whopping A$300,000 ($315,000).
