Update: It seems that Amazon's $50 price reduction in Nexus 9 deals has come to an end, as the e-retailer is now selling the tablet, at its original price of $399.99.
The much hyped Google Nexus 9, which was finally released last month, is now available at a reduced price in the US, albeit for a limited period of time.
If you are fretting over the near $400 (£255) price tag on the Nexus 9 tablet, then head over to Amazon, as the online retailer is not only offering the tablet at a comparatively lower price, but is also claiming to ship the device free of cost.
Amazon is currently selling Google's Nexus 9 at a new pricing of $349.99 (£223) which is $50 (£32) less than the device's original street price, and also results in you saving nearly 14% on the Nexus 9's original price.
If you order the Nexus 9 from Amazon relatively early, you get to choose a two-day shipping option at checkout.
New Nexus 9 units will be delivered as early as 18 November, for customers ordering the device within the next 23 hours (as of writing this copy).
If you prefer the normal free shipping that Amazon offers via Amazon, then your orders will be delivered within 5 to 8 business days, from the date of placing your orders.
"If your order meets the qualifications for Guaranteed Accelerated Delivery, we will refund the shipping costs if we miss our delivery promise," states Amazon, on its official web portal.
"If the item you purchase is not eligible for Express shipping options, we also offer Guaranteed Accelerated Delivery via standard shipping or international shipping when applicable," adds Amazon.
However, do bear in mind that the latest offer is a limited time offer and is very likely to face increased demand.
Amazon is also said to have built a separate Nexus 9 inventory, to handle the latest offer.
In summary, on paper, Amazon's latest deal seems to be a good idea to buy a standard Nexus 9 at a comparatively reduced price.
