Wandering Grangemouth toddler found, say police IB Times

Two women have been charged after a toddler was found wandering the streets by herself in Grangemouth, Scotland, on Sunday, 29 March. Police arrested a 33-year-old and 54-year-old over the incident.

A passer-by spotted the 18-month-old girl wandering a busy street on her own in the middle of the afternoon, wearing pyjamas and only one shoe. The girl suffered from bruises and scratches to her face and was taken to hospital.

A police spokesman told Falkirk Herald the pair were charged in accordance with the Children and Young Persons Act and are due to appear at Falkirk Sherriff's Court on Tuesday, 31 March.
