Drake has made his Summer Sixteen Tour legendary after just 19 dates. On Tuesday night (16 August 2016), the One Dance rapper created a historic moment when he invited legendary lyricist Eminem to join him on-stage. It came as a huge surprise to fans who up until that point were led to believe that the rappers were locked in a heated feud.

With the show taking place at the Joe Lewis Arena in Eminem's hometown of Detroit, Michigan, it was only right that the Slim Shady join him on-stage that particular night. After rapping it out to their 2009 collaboration Forever, Drake bowed down to Eminem and described him as the "greatest rapper to ever get on a microphone", to which the Detroit-native admitted it was an "honour".

Alongside an Instagram photo of them hanging out backstage, Drake wrote in the caption: "SHARED THE STAGE WITH THE GOAT FOR DETROIT. DONE THE HYPE... It may not mean nothing to y'all, but understand nothing was done for me, so I don't plan on stopping at all.... #SummerSixteenTour #TrustTheShooter."

In July, DJ Ebro made up a rumour that Eminem was planning on releasing a diss track aimed at Drake in support of Joe Budden, who has long feuded with the Young Money star. Judging by Drizzy and Em's show of unity though, there is no bad blood between them.

Eminem's appearance was just one of many great moments to have happened on Drake and Future's Summer Sixteen tour so far. IBTimes UK takes a look at the best of the rest...

Rihanna

Drake's love for RiRi is universally known so it comes as no surprise that she has made an appearance on the Summer Sixteen tour already. During the pit stop at OVO Fest in Toronto, Canada, Rihanna performed her own little segment with songs including Needed Me and Bitch Better Have My Money before Drake joined the pop star for their Work and Too Good collaborations.

At one of his Madison Square Garden shows in New York, Drake also professed his love for his rumoured girlfriend, telling the audience: "If you've got love for Rihanna in New York City... cuz you know I've got love for Rihanna." Something suggests it won't be the last cameo RiRi makes before the tour ends in October.

Kanye West

Drake is clearly a fan of collaborative albums having teamed up with Future and now Kanye West is next on his hit list. Announcing their joint venture in Toronto, West told the audience: "I got a question for you. Is y'all ready for this album? I wasn't talking about [The Life Of] Pablo. I wasn't talking about [Drake's album] Views. I wanna ask y'all right now: Are y'all ready for this album?"

Drake later added: "What my brother was asking you before was, are you ready if we make an album? That's what he was asking."

J Cole

Drake and J Cole rose to prominence at approximately the same time in 2009. So it was a special moment for hip-hop culture when the Hotline Bling rapper bestowed the greatest compliment on lyrically conscious J Cole.

Drake said: "You are looking at one of the smartest, greatest, most legendary artists of our generation." It was also perhaps a slight dig at Kendrick Lamar who is close friends with J Cole but frenemies with Drizzy.

Charlamagne Tha God

Power 105.1's Breakfast Club host Charlamagne has always made his feelings on Drake clear cut. The radio personality is not a fan of Drake's singing but appreciates his rapping talents. In the midst of his feud with Meek Mill, Drake famously sent bottles of champagne to Charlamagne as a thank you for the support. Cementing the end of their feud, the pair posed it up for a photo backstage at one of Drake's Madison Square Garden quite literally creating a snapshot for the history books.

History don't get made unless we make it. Salute @champagnepapi great show tonight.

Joe Budden and Hot 97

Drake had always remained a dignified silence when it came to his rap beef with Eminem's friend Joe Budden. But his patience reached its limit after Budden released four diss tracks targeted at the Grammy-winning rapper.

In response, Drake said on-stage: "We got that good energy going on. I should've brought Joe Budden up here and let him do Pump It Up one time tonight... F**k them n****s, man." Drizzy also had words for Hot 97's Funkmaster Flex, saying at another show: "F**k Hot 97. Fire Funk Flex and then I'll do your show."
