Sandra Oh may have hung up her scrubs as Dr Christina Yang on the long-running show Grey's Anatomy, in 2014, but she still has something to say about her on-screen husband Dr Owen Hunt's (Kevin McKidd) new relationship.

The former co-stars caught up on 9 June and Oh shared a number of adorable photos of the two on Twitter. She also shared her opinion of Hunt's new on-screen wife brain surgeon Dr Amelia Shepherd (Caterina Scorsone).

"My TV husband has a new TV wife?? Xqueez me? I don't think so!" she joked, following it with another tweet in which she shared some love with fellow Canadian Scorsone.

Former Grey's Anatomy executive producer and writer Tony Phelan was also part of the meeting that took place at Mistral in Studio City.

"The three of them spent the night catching up about many things, including Sundance and Doubt and Grey's," a rep for Phelan told EW.

Grey's Anatomy has been extended for a 13th season and will resume on ABC later this year.

In the meanwhile, Oh has been working on an upcoming movie Catfight – an action comedy also featuring Anne Heche and Alicia Silverstone. The film has been written and directed by Onur Tukel and follows two bitter rivals who had been close in college. Oh plays a wealthy housewife and Heche portrays a struggling artist.

"I expected the lead performances to be brilliant, but what they did blew my mind," Tukel said. "The fight scenes are also insanely intense. We've made a very funny comedy here, but it's also tragically dark."

The release date for Catfight has not been confirmed.
